🌳🌏 [Friendly Forwarding] Rootelligence: Climate Equity × AI × Youth-led Urban Futures Exhibition is Now OPEN!

Organised by Digital Common(s), in collaboration with the Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change (MoCC), CUHK School of Architecture and CUHK PI Centre, the Rootelligence Exhibition Grand Opening and Symposium was successfully held on 11 September 2026 at School of Architecture, CUHK.

BESGO was honoured to be a supporting organisation of the event. Dr. Fred Ku, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies) of CUHK Business School, attended on behalf of BESGO and joined speakers and youth leaders from architecture, climate action, AI and education to explore how AI-co-created, youth-led initiatives grounded in natural intelligence and climate equity can help shape more resilient cities of the future.

Inspired by the cooperative wisdom of plant root systems, the exhibition unfolds across five chapters: Root, People, Adaptation, Exploration and Resilience. It features bio-material experiments, interactive installations, student design prototypes and immersive data visuals. Visitors are invited to explore Hong Kong-rooted community knowledge and imagine climate-equitable urban futures for 2050 and beyond.

Presentation and Closing Ceremony of RBW 2026 🎓✨

The Responsible Business Workshop (RBW) 2026 concluded with student presentations and a closing ceremony, marking the end of an inspiring week of learning, collaboration, and international exchange in Hong Kong.

This year’s programme brought together around 40 students from five Asian universities: The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Nagoya University of Commerce and Business, National Chiayi University, National Tsing Hua University, and Hanyang University.

Throughout the programme, students worked in cross-institutional teams, exchanged ideas, and reflected on how businesses can create positive social impact through responsible practices.

The final presentations showcased students’ learning, creativity, and teamwork, bringing together insights gained from the workshops, company visits, case discussions, and cultural exchange activities.

Our sincere thanks to the course instructors, Dr. Fred Ku, Dr. C.L. Chu, and Dr. Goi Hoe Chin, for their guidance and support throughout the programme. We would also like to thank Mr. Damion White for his kind assistance and support.

照顧，從來都不是一個人的孤軍奮戰，而是整個家庭並肩作戰的接力賽。是次分享會邀請了三位來自不同服務領域、同樣關注照顧者需要的賽馬會創新社工夥伴。他們將分享如何透過創新手法，動員丈夫、子女等家庭成員，甚至社區鄰里，一起參與照顧工作，在減輕單一照顧者壓力的同時，亦讓照顧責任轉化為家庭和社區凝聚的契機，守護每一位成員的身心健康。

1. 張斯皓 Horace Cheung（第五屆創新社工夥伴），為準爸爸提供互相交流育兒知識的空間，讓他們以輕鬆、簡易的方式學習準備成為照顧者的新生活，打破「育兒是母親責任」的傳統觀念，讓丈夫成為妻子照顧新生兒的最強隊友。

2. 劉慧琪 Vicky Lau（第六屆創新社工夥伴），策劃專為 SEN 兒童而設的託管服務及朋輩支援，為全職照顧者提供喘息空間，家長亦從中掌握與子女相處的有效方法，學會如何在休息與照顧之間取得平衡。

3. 林嘉雯 Karmen Lam（第八屆創新社工夥伴），積極推廣以「家庭為本」的照顧模式，以應對現時社會上「以老護老」的狀況，及早動員子女成為年長護老者的後盾，重新找回溫馨的家庭時光。
